Our Centre

CTC has a purpose built training centre that was specifically designed for the delivery of training for trainee psychotherapists, taking account of the experiential and therapeutic aspects of such training and the need for a private, comfortable space to support such personal work. It is fully equipped with materials for use within the training sessions and experiential workshops. Adequate parking facilities are provided for all cars. Extensive gardens provide a recreational space for trainees to relax during breaks.

Our library has over 1200 relevant books, videos, journals, and articles available for the trainee’s use. Most of these resources are available for trainees to borrow from our lending library, others are available for reference purposes. Trainees can access the books, articles, journals, and reference files when on site, and overnight during modules, and can borrow books between modules. We provide trainees with many documents (hard copy and as computer files) to support their clinical practice, including session record forms and guidelines, consent forms, intake paperwork, clinical governance documents.

We host regular ‘Open House’ Days and all trainees can attend (no cost) to gain further access to the library and resources.
